Public Notes:
In general, Work includes a new, slab on grade, 2,275+ sf building addition on the south side of the existing school building. Exterior finishes of two tone tan brick and stone base will match the existing building. Interior finishes will match the existing building. Structural system to be structural steel post and beam supporting steel bar joists and metal roof deck. Interior framing to be light gage metal stud framing. HVAC to include new heat pumps but will utilize existing fresh air units for fresh air. The existing geothermal wellfield will be utilized and does not require expansion for this project. Low wall return air will be provided in each classroom. New LED light fixtures and lighting controls including occupancy sensors, dimmers, and photocells will be provided per energy code. New roofing material to be an EPDM roofing membrane. The school will be occupied by students during construction.
