All attendees must check in at the School Office just inside the main entry. All bidders are encouraged to be present. There is no other time scheduled for inspection of the existing conditions.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Lewiston Consolidated Schools shall receive sealed bids on a Combined Construction contract including General, Mechanical and Electrical work for the proposed classroom addition at the existing School, 306 West Tiger Avenue, Lewiston, Nebraska; that said bids shall be received by the Owner until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the District Office, Lewiston Consolidated Schools, 206 West Tiger Avenue, Lewiston, Nebraska 68380. Immediately thereafter bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
Addition to the existing Lewiston Consolidated School building and associated General, Mechanical and Electrical Work.
Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
Bids must be on a Lump Sum basis and shall be in accord with the Instructions to Bidders.
Materials to be incorporated into the complete project shall be purchased tax exempt in the name of the Owner, and the Bidder shall exclude from his Bid all State of Nebraska and Local Option Sales and Use Tax for such materials in accordance with the General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract for Construction.
All work associated with the addition may commence immediately upon Contract Award and Notice to Proceed and must achieve substantial completion and be ready for occupancy on or before July 31, 2015.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc, 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $75.00 payable to Carlson West Povondra Architects. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
Bidders may also obtain a CD
with PDF copies of the plans and specifications from the Architect by submitting a request to
biddocs@cwparchitects.com or at (402) 551-1500. A non-refundable fee in the amount of $25 per CD and a fully executed Digital Data Agreement (supplied by the Architect) is required to process digital document requests.
CD's ARE NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH A&D TECHNICAL SUPPLY CO., INC.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is requested, a non-refundable fee determined by Carlson West Povondra Architects will be required.
Bid Documents MUST be returned within 10 days of Bid Opening to receive a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within specified time, deposit is subject to forfeiture.
