SCOPE OF WORK:
Furnish all labor, material, permits, testing, etc., as required for a TIA certified Category 6 structured
cabling system, including but not limited to the following: (1) All Category 3 and 5/5e horizontal
telephone and data cabling and associated jacks, throughout the facility, will be replaced
with new Category 6 cabling and equipment. Fiber backbone cabling will be replaced with 12
strand single mode fiber. All cabling will be installed in existing cable or basket tray, which is concealed above
acoustical grid ceiling. Some locations will require a new cable tray
provided/installed to match existing. (2) Data racks, in the existing 2
telecom closets, and associated equipment, including all Category 5/5e
patch panels, uninterruptable power supplies and fiber equipment
will be replaced. A new mini-split cooling system, branch circuits & lighting
will be provided for each telecom room.
