Public Notes:
Furnish all labor, material, permits, testing, etc., as required for a TIA certified
Category 6 structured cabling system, including but not limited to the following:
All Category 3 and 5/5e horizontal telephone and data cabling and associated jacks,
throughout the facility, will be replaced with new Category 6 cabling
and equipment. Fiber backbone cabling will be replaced with 12 strand
single mode fiber. All cabling will be installed in a new cable or basket tray,
which will be concealed above the existing acoustical grid ceiling or will be
supported from "J" hooks. Data racks, in the existing telecom closets
(2), and associated equipment, including all Category 5/5e patch panels, A new mini-split cooling system, branch circuits, and
lighting will be provided for each telecom room.
