Offers will be opened publicly immediately after the time for receipt of bids. The Owner will consider the bids received for the furnishing of said labor, materials and equipment necessary for the proper construction of the aforesaid project.

ALL BID DOCUMENTS SHALL BE RETURNED TO THE OFFICE OF THE ARCHITECT, WILKINS HINRICHS STOBER ARCHITECTS, 2908 West 39th Street, Suite A, Kearney, NE 68845 within 15 calendar days of Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.


The Project consists of remodeling restrooms at three (3) separate bullding on the Central Community College - Hastings Campus.

1. At FURNAS BUILDING, the work includes an interior remodel of approximately 1,500 sq. ft. including four restrooms, an office and study room. Demolition includes existing restrooms, plumbing fixtures, doors, metal stud and masonry walls, and miscellaneous mechanical, electrical and plumbing. New construction includes but is not limited to metal stud framing, concrete, wood doors and hollow metal frames, ceilings and finishes including paint, wall and floor tile, and resilient flooring. Fire protection in the area of work will be removed and new piping and sprinkle heads will be installed as required with the new room layouts. Plumbing will consist of installation of new plumbing fixtures and associated piping and accessories in the renovated and relocated restrooms. HVAC will consist of new HVAC systems and exhaust fans to serve the relocated restrooms, office and study area. Electrical will consist of new luminaires and switches, new receptacles, communication devices, fire alarm devices and connections for new HVAC equipment.

2. At WEBSTER BUILDING, the work includes an interior remodel of approximately 2,500 sq. ft. including two restrooms and open classroom space. Demolition includes existing restrooms, plumbing fixtures, doors, metal stud walls, casework and miscellaneous mechanical, electrical and plumbing. New construction includes but is not limited to metal stud framing, concrete, wood doors and hollow metal frames, ceilings and finishes including paint, wall and floor tile, carpet and resilient flooring. Plumbing will consist of installation of new plumbing fixtures and associated piping and accessories in the relocated restrooms. HVAC will consist of a new HVAC system and exhaust fans to serve the relocated restrooms. Electrical will consist of new luminaires and switches, power and special systems will consist of new receptacles, communication devices, fire alarm devices and connections for the new HVAC equipment.

3. At DAWSON BUILDING, the work includes an interior remodel of approximately 600 sq. ft. including two restrooms. Demolition includes existing restrooms, plumbing fixtures, masonry walls and miscellaneous mechanical, electrical and plumbing. New construction includes but is not limited to masonry walls, ceilings and finishes including paint and wall/floor tile. Plumbing will consist of installation of new plumbing fixtures and associated piping. HVAC will consist of installation of new diffusers in the new ceiling grid for the restrooms. Electrical will consist of installation of new luminaires and associated switches, power and special systems of new receptacles and fire alarm devices in the restrooms.

Contract type: A single prime contract based on a Stipulated Price as described in Document 00 5200 - Agreement Form.
Project will be constructed under one general construction contract.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc, 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained. - No partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
