BIDS ARE DUE by October 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. central time. Proposals to be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of Charles Assman, Director of Facilities, 1213 Garfield Avenue, Harlan, Iowa 51537.

Public Notes:
Work includes the following activities: 1. Remove existing metal wall panels, soffit panels, and associated trim. 2. Remove existing 8 inch batt insulation and polyethylene vapor retarder in wall cavity. 3. Clean and paint areas of corroded steel girts, purlins, and columns. 4. Install new bridging/bracing. 5. Inspect, repair and seal simple saver roof air barrier. 6. At wall sections that do not contain wall sheathing directly inboard of the girts, install new sheathing fastened to the interior light-gauge steel stud wall. 7. Install spray polyurethane foam (SPF) to create a continuous air barrier. 8. Install installation between girts and metal wall panels to create a thermal break using either extruded polystyrene (XPS) rigid insulation or SPF insulation. 9. Install new thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) base flashing. 10. Provide new window trim at the termination of metal wall panels at window openings. 11. Install new window perimeter sealant joints. 12. Reinstall metal wall panels, foam gaskets, and wall panel accessories. 13. Perform isolated interior drywall repairs.

A deposit in the amount of $200.00 (made payable to Myrtue Medical Center) will be required for each set of bidding documents.
If shipping is required there is a non refundable flat rate of $25.00 per set made payable to A&D Technical Supply.
CD's and Downloads of the project in PDF format are available at a cost of $20.00 each, PURCHASE ONLY.
Shipping costs on all CD's will be $9.00, payable to A&D Technical Supply.
The deposit will be refunded upon return of the plans and specifications in good condition within 10 days after the bid opening date.
