PreBid Info:   A tour of the existing building and a pre-bid conference will be held at the building on August 27, 2014 at 10:00 am. Bidders are encouraged to attend walkthrough at discretion of Owner. Bid may be rejected if Contractor has not attended the walkthrough.

Bid Info:   Douglas County will receive sealed bids until 11:00 am Central Time on September 10, 2014, at the LC1 Offices of the City Clerk, Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE 68183-0011. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Bid Opening Meeting in the Legislative Chambers after submission of bid on September 10, 2014. All parties are invited to attend.

Public Notes:
You are invited to bid on a combined contract, including general, mechanical and electrical work for the Boiler Replacement project at the Douglas County Criminal Justice Building.

Project consists of replacement of one steam boiler and steam water heater with a heating hot water boiler and a water-to-water heat exchanger as base bid, and replacement of a second steam boiler and steam water heater with a heating hot water boiler and a water-to-water heat exchanger as alternate bid.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Specialized Engineering Solutions. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set orders are allowed.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned within 10 calendar days of Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.
