Project Description: Demolish two existing structures, existing pavements and other existing
items on the site and prepare the site to construct a new fire station containing approximately
8,720 square feet on the ground floor with an approximate 755 square foot mezzanine
for Storage and Mechanical functions.
The fire station will contain the following functions:
Training Room with 40 seat capacity; Break Area with cabinets,
sink, refrigerator space and microwave oven space;
a FEMA F4 rated Storm Shelter Room containing two Offices and two Restrooms;
Vehicle Bays for eight vehicles; a Shop area; and a Utility Room.
The structure will be a pre-engineered metal building system constructed on
shallow, concrete grade beams with site paving for drives,
walks and parking constructed of concrete and crushed rock.
