Sealed bids for the Iowa Interstate Railroad Office, Canopy & Guard Shack project located at 2722 South Avenue in Council Bluffs, Iowa will be received at the offices of HGM Associates, Inc., 640 Fifth Avenue, Council Bluffs, Iowa, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 and will be opened publicly. The bid tab will be made public.

The work includes but is not limited to the construction of a new office building, truck inspection canopy and Guard Shack inspection office. Demolition of the existing Guard Shack building is included in the work. Materials include concrete foundations and slabs, masonry veneer, wood stud framing, pre-engineered wood trusses, hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum store front, metal roofing, casework, insulation and interior and exterior finishes, mechanical and electrical systems are included in the work. Sitework includes clearing, grading, electrical service, water service, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, paving, irrigation and landscaping. Building do not have fire sprinklers. Other items included in the work: emergency generator, lift station and pedestrian bridge.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $150.00 payable to HGM Associates, Inc. *A Builder's Card will be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days of Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
