Bidders are encouraged to attend walkthrough at discretion of Owner. Bid may be rejected if Contractor has not attended the walkthrough. See drawings cover sheet for meeting location and parking area.

Bid Info:   Douglas County will receive sealed bids until 11:00 am Central Time on May 7, 2014, at the LC1 Offices of the City Clerk, Omaha – Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam St., Omaha, NE 68183-0011. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Bid Opening Meeting in the Legislative Chambers after submission of bid on May 7, 2014. All parties are invited to attend.

Public Notes:
You are invited to bid on a combined contract, including general, mechanical and electrical work for the Condensate Surge Tank project at the Douglas County Health Center.

Work of this contract includes the absolute and total removal and disposal of asbestos containing/contaminated material as outlined in the schematics and/or discovered during any and all site work performed by the asbestos abatement contractor and others. All asbestos containing materials in the areas identified as a part of this contract are the responsibility of the Contractor and is therefore required to perform an in-depth site investigation to determine the extent of asbestos containing materials and/or contamination, and include in his/her proposal the cost of all resources necessary to satisfactorily complete the work. No schedule changes or monetary compensation will be made for removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials not identified in this document.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Specialized Engineering Solutions (SES). *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 7 calendar days of Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
