Bid Info:   Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture P.C. will on behalf of the Owner accept bids from pre-selected General Contractors (Listed Below) for renovation of the existing Sprague Street Apartments located at 4847 Sahler Street/4822 Sprague St., Omaha, NE 68104 until 2:00 PM CST, Wednesday April 8, 2014 at the office Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture, 1516 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE, 68102. The contractor shall submit bids in 9 x 12 envelopes with “PROPOSAL, Heartland Family Works” and the name of the bidder written clearly on its front. Bids will be opened privately and reviewed before accepted. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding.

Public Notes:
The project consists of a renovation of the former Park Crest Apartments at 4822 Sprague Street.

The renovation of the existing concrete and masonry building will provide for a new rehabilitation center for women who suffer from chemical dependency addictions. The program caters to women who are pregnant or who have children and can continue to remain in their care during the treatment process. The project scope is a complete renovation of the structure including new egress stair towers, entry and lobby additions at the north and south, new elevator, treatment floor with administrative offices, child care area, three floors of living and treatment units, and a community space on the upper floor. The project will include all new building services including fire sprinklers, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.

Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set orders are allowed.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $45.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned within 30 calendar days of Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
*One reminder phone call will be placed.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.
