Bid Info:   Bids signed and under seal, executed, dated, and submitted for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the McCook Community College Brooks Hall ADA Restroom Remodel prior to March 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brooks Hall Cafeteria. Offers will be opened publicly immediately after the time for receipt of bids. The Owner will consider the bids received for the furnishing of said labor, materials and equipment necessary for the proper construction of the aforesaid project.

Project Location: McCook, Nebraska

Public Notes:
The Project consists of an interior renovation of 4 toilet rooms in the south portion of the Brooks Hall dormitory on the McCook Community College campus. The renovation includes demolition of the existing toilet rooms, including removal of portions of CMU wall, hollow metal doors, plumbing fixtures and electrical fixtures. New construction consists of new casework for a small kitchen and updating the toilet rooms. Materials include, but are not limited to, CMU, structural steel framing, wood doors and frames, wall and floor tile, paint and carpet tile and base. The mechanical portion of the project consists of removal of the existing fan coil units and replacing them with new fan coil units. The plumbing portion of the project consists of removing the existing plumbing fixtures and replacing them with new fixtures along with moving some fixture locations due to new walls and ADA compliant spaces. The electrical portion of the project consists of the removal of old electrical fixtures in the remodel area. New lighting is provided throughout the remodel area. The existing fire alarm system is to be reconfigured for the new spaces.

A deposit in the amount of $75.00 (made payable to Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects) will be required for each set of bidding documents.

If shipping is required there is a non refundable flat rate of $25.00 per set made payable to A&D Technical Supply.
There will be an $8.00 handling fee for the use of shipper numbers (UPS).

CD's of the project in PDF format are available at a cost of $25.00 each, PURCHASE ONLY.

The deposit will be returned in full only if a) a qualified bid is submitted and the Drawings and Specifications are returned with fifteen (15) days of the bid determination, or if the Contractor decides not to submit a Proposal and the Bid Documents are returned within seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
