Bids signed and under seal, executed, dated, and submitted for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the Central Community College - Columbus North Education Building - Mechatronics Renovations will be received prior to February 25, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Central Community College - Administration Office Board Room, 3134 West Highway 34, Grand Island, Nebraska. Offers will be opened publicly immediately after the time for receipt of bids. The Owner will consider the bids received for the furnishing of said labor, materials and equipment necessary for the proper construction of the aforesaid project.

The Project consists of:
An interior renovation of approximately 8,700 sq ft, of the southeast portion of the North Education Building on the Columbus Campus. The renovation includes demolition of the existing welding lab, classrooms, offices, and restrooms, including removal of CMU wall, hollow metal doors and windows, and miscellaneous interior finishes and furnishings. New Construction consists of finished lab, classroom, and office space, and updated restrooms. Materials include, but are not limited to, CMU, brick masonry, structural steel framing, hollow metal doors, frames, and windows, ceilings, skylights, A/V equipment, custom aluminum equipment, and finishes including paint, carpet, VCT, epoxy flooring, and wall and floor tile.
The mechanical portion of the project consists of removal of the existing HVAC and plumbing components in the remodel area with installation of new gas-fired, DX cooled rooftop units, associated support systems and accessories, compressed air piping, plumbing modifications for the restrooms, and fire protection for remodel area. The electrical portion of the project consists of the removal of old electrical equipment in the remodel area and the installation of new panel boards and branch circuits to support the new loads. New lighting is provided throughout the remodel area. New data and telephone cable is to be provided. The existing fire alarm system is reconfigured for the new spaces.

Virtual Plan Room at www.adtechsupply.com.
A deposit in the amount of $100.00 (made payable to Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects) will be required for each set of bidding documents.
If shipping is required there is a non refundable flat rate of $25.00 per set made payable to A&D Technical Supply.
There will be an $8.00 handling fee for the use of shipper numbers (UPS).
CD's of the project in PDF format are available at a cost of $25.00 each, PURCHASE ONLY.
The deposit will be returned in full only if a) a qualified bid is submitted and the Drawings and Specifications are returned with fifteen (15) days of the bid determination, or if the Contractor decides not to submit a Proposal and the Bid Documants are returned within seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
