Bid Info:   The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska invites Bids for the following project: UNK Centennial Towers - West & East Elevator Upgrades on the University of Nebraska at Kearney Campus, 1002 West 29th Street, Kearney, Nebraska. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm, February 20, 2014. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be received at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, General Services Building, 2507 19th Avenue, Kearney, NE 68849.

Public Notes:
The Project consists of:
Modification to the existing elevator machine room and elevator shaft to finish the current elevator modernization project and comply with the State of Nebraska Department of Labor - Office of Elevator Safety deficiencies. CTW and CTE Elevator work can begin as soon as possible. CTW will be occupied by the Owner throughout 2014 and at minimum, needs to have 1 elevator operational. CTW will be occupied by the Owner at the end of July 2014 and if work is still being performed, at minimum 1 elevator needs to be operational.

Contractors may obtain full sets of Drawings and Project Manual from the following location:
A&D Technical Supply Co., 4320 So. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402) 592-4950 ext. 4, or by the Virtual Plan Room at www.adtechsupply.com.

A deposit in the amount of $75.00 (made payable to Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects) will be required for each set of bidding documents.

If shipping is required there is a non refundable flat rate of $25.00 per set made payable to A&D Technical Supply.
There will be an $8.00 handling fee for the use of shipper numbers (UPS).

CD's of the project in PDF format are available at a cost of $25.00 each, PURCHASE ONLY.

The deposit will be returned in full only if a) a qualified bid is submitted and the Drawings and Specifications are returned with 45 days following receipt of bids to Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects, or if the Contractor decides not to submit a Proposal and the Drawings and Specifications are returned with seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.

All other contractors will return all Bid Documents to: Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects, L.L.C., 2908 W. 39th Street, Suite A, Kearney, Nebraska 68845.
