Bids shall be received by the Owner until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Niobrara Public Schools District Office in the Elementary Building at 247 N Hwy 12, Niobrara, Nebraska 68760. Immediately thereafter bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Niobrara Public Schools shall receive sealed bids on a Combined Construction contract including General, Mechanical and Electrical work for the proposed new High School addition to, and remodel of, the existing Elementary School and Multi-Purpose Gymnasium Building located at 247 N Hwy 12, Niobrara, Nebraska.
This project consists of the construction of a Jr./Sr. High School addition to the existing Elementary School and Multi-Purpose Gymnasium Building as well as renovation work within the existing Elementary School and Multi-Purpose Gymnasium Building. The new construction will be located between and connected to the existing elementary and gymnasium buildings and include classrooms, administrative space, media center, locker rooms, competition gymnasium and support space. Renovation in the existing elementary and gym buildings will include HVAC, infrastructure and lighting repairs and/or replacement, power distribution upgrades, selected space reassignment and finish improvements and ADA and Life Safety code compliance. Improvements in the existing shop building will include the addition of air conditioning and a welding exhaust system.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc, 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402)592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $150.00 payable to Carlson West Povondra Architects. - A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
As there are a limited number of hard copy sets available, bidders may also obtain a CD with PDF copies of the plans and specifications from the Architect by submitting a request to biddocs@cwparchitects.com or at (402) 551-1500. A nonrefundable fee of $20 per CD and a fully executed Digital Data Agreement (found in the Project Manual) is required to process digital document requests. CD's are NOT available through A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Electronic Downloads are NOT available for this project.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is requested, a non-refundable fee determined by Carlson West Povondra Architects will be required.
The entire deposit will be refunded to bona fide Bidders upon return of the Documents to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., in good condition, within ten (10) calendar days after the Bid Opening. After 10 days, the deposit will be forfeited.
