Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture P.C. on behalf of the Owner will accept bids from pre-selected General Contractors for renovation of the existing St. Richards School Building located at 4318 Fort Street, Omaha, NE 68111 until 2:00 PM CST, Thursday November 21, 2013 at the office of Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture,
1516 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE, 68102. The contractor shall submit bids in 9 x 12 envelopes with “PROPOSAL, North Omaha Intergenerational Campus” and the name of the bidder written clearly on its front. Bids will be opened privately and reviewed before accepted. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding.

The project consists of a renovation and restoration of the Nationally Registered Historic St.
Richards School Building. The owner intends to utilize Historic Tax Credits for the project.
Compliance with the Secretary of the Interior standards for rehabilitation is critical. The renovation of the existing masonry and steel framed building includes a new emergency teen
shelter and senior day center. A new “dog house” construction will be added to the existing roof
for routing of new HVAC systems. The teen shelter will include new sleeping dorms, private
restrooms, renovation of public restrooms and new office space. The senior center renovation will
include renovations to the existing commercial kitchen and dining hall. The scope includes new
finishes, new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as well as required structural
modifications to facilitate new construction.
The pre-selected General Contractors are:
Boyd Jones Construction, Darland Construction, Dicon Construction, Hawkins Construction, Kiewit Construction, and Lund-Ross Constructors.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc, 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402)592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture.
A CURRENT Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned in 'like new' condition within 30 calendar days of Bid Opening, or deposit will be forfeited.
