NOTICE is hereby given that Holdrege Public Schools (HPS) is soliciting Bids for a Combined
Contract, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Work for the CONSTRUCTION OF A
NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUILDING CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY
SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND (77,000) SQUARE FEET. The project scope consists of
construction of a new Elementary School building located at approximately 1700 Broadway
Street, Holdrege, Nebraska 68949, consisting of approximately 77,000 square feet gross area
(hereinafter referred to as “the Project”); such project structure to consist generally of cast-in place
concrete foundations and flatwork, structural steel, steel studs, masonry (CMU and brick)
and pre-cast concrete panels, single-ply roofing, miscellaneous finishes, kitchen equipment,
mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, fire alarm, educational intercom system, public
address system, telecommunications cabling and pathways, site work and landscaping. The
school design also includes a tornado safe room.

Plans and Specifications may be obtained from the office of the printer, A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $200.00, payable to Holdrege Public Schools. A CURRENT Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check. Only Complete Sets of Plans and Specifications may be obtained. CD's and Downloads containing a Full Set of Plans and Specifications in PDF format are available for a fee of $40.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of Plans and Specifications is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $35.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
The entire deposit will be refunded to bona fide Bidders upon return of the documents, in good condition to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., within 30 calendar days of Bid Opening. Plans and Specifications MUST be returned within 30 calendar days of Bid Opening, or deposit will be forfeited.
