PreBid Info:   A tour of the existing building and a pre-bid conference will be held at the building on August 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders will meet in the main lobby of the Douglas County Health Center. Bidders are encouraged to attend walkthrough at discretion of Owner. Bid may be rejected if Contractor has not attended the walkthrough.

Bid Info:   Douglas County will receive sealed bids until 11:00 a.m. Central Time on August 28, 2013 at the LC1 Offices of the City Clerk, Omaha – Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam St., Omaha, NE 68183-0011. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Bid Opening Meeting in the Legislative Chambers after submission of bid on August 28, 2013. All parties are invited to attend.

Project Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Public Notes:
You are invited to bid on a combined contract, including mechanical and electrical work for the Domestic Hot Water Upgrade at the Douglas County Health Center Campus.
The Owner would like substantial completion of the project within 24 weeks from contract award.
Anticipated award of contract and construction commencement date is September 28, 2013.



Job Purchase Information:
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at A&D Technical Supply Company, 4230 South 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders upon depositing the sum of $100.00, made payable to Specialized Engineering Solutions.

Any bidder upon returning the documents in good condition immediately following the public opening of the bids, shall be returned the deposit in full.

If shipping is required, there is a non-refundable fee of $15.00 made payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Plan Room.
