PreBid Info:   A Pre-Bid Conference and tour of the existing roof and occupied spaces below will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2013, at the Douglas County Correctional Center, 710 S 17th Street, Omaha, Nebraska. All Bidders and sub-bidders are strongly encouraged to be present. There is no other time scheduled to allow bidder access to the secure roof and building interior areas.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Douglas County Nebraska shall receive sealed bids on a Combined Construction Contract including the installation of a roofing system and modular athletic surfacing of a rooftop outdoor recreation area and replacement of associated roof drains and other miscellaneous associated General, Mechanical and Electrical work for Douglas County Correctional Center Recreation Area Roofing Replacemernt project, at 710 S 17th Street, Omaha, Nebraska; that said bids shall be received by the Owner until 11:00 a.m. central time on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, to the attention of the City of Omaha Clerk, Buster Brown, LC1 Offices, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Bid Opening meeting in the Legislative Chambers after submission of Bids on August 21, 2013. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Bidders may view electronic (PDF) copies of Bidding Documents at the Douglas County Purchasing website www.douglascountypurchasing.org.

Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents at the office of the printer, A & D Technical Supply, 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 68127, (402) 592-4950 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 noon and 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, upon the deposit of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), CHECK ONLY, per set of Documents and in accord with the Instructions to Bidders. All deposit checks are made payable to Carlson West Povondra Architects.

The entire deposit will be refunded to bona fide Bidders upon return of the Documents, in good condition, within ten (10) days after the Bid opening. After 10 days, the deposit will be forfeited.

If requested, bidding documents will be packaged and shipped via UPS Ground upon receipt of $15.00 per set to cover shipping and handling. Plans and Planholder lists can be viewed online at www.adtechplans.com.
