Bids will be received from Contractors for the Addition to the Knox County Courthouse in Center, Nebraska in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Mannes Architects, LLC, 800 Douglas Ave., Yankton, South Dakota 57078.
Proposals for Bid Packages #1-#16 shall be received by the Construction Manager at their office until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on Tuesday the 6th day of August, 2013 on behalf of Knox County. Construction Manager, RaDec Construction, PO Box 667, Hartington, NE 68739 (402) 254-3345 Fax (402) 254-2245. All work shall be coordinated under the management of the Construction Manager. Bids received after the given time will not be accepted.

The project consists of a three-story addition of approximately 6,300 total square feet and selective remodeling within the existing Courthouse. Construction consists of engineered fill, concrete foundation, slab-on-grade, reinforced CMU, pre-cast coreplanks, brick and EIFS veneers, rigid wall and roof insulation, and EPDM roofing. Finishes include painted drywall, wood doors, hollow metal frames, aluminum entrances, windows, carpet, ceramic tile and lay-in acoustical ceilings. Mechanical construction consists of a complete plumbing system and heating and cooling system. The mechanical system is a forced air heating and air conditioning system. The electrical system consists of an entire power, data, wiring, and lighting system. This Addition includes a hydraulic elevator.

Sets must be reserved by phone and payment received prior to shipping plans.
Complete Sets of Plans & Specifications are available upon deposit in the amount of $100.00 made payable to Mannes Architects LLC for each set of Documents.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of the Documents, in good condition, within 10 days after the bid opening to the Construction Manager.
If shipping is required, there is a flat rate of $20.00 per set (Please address all checks for shipping to A&D Tech Supply).
