A Pre-bid Conference will be held for this project on May 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. local time. Bidders shall meet at Millard Public Schools Support Services, 13906 F Street, Omaha, NE 68137.
Representatives of Owner and Landscape Architect will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders
are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Landscape Architect will transmit to
all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Landscape Architect considers necessary in
response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will
not be binding or legally effective.

The Board of Directors of Millard Public Schools (MPS), will receive sealed bids until 2:00 P.M. Local Time May 28, 2013 at the Don Stroh Administration Center, Conference Room DSAC A,(5606 S. 147th Street, Omaha, NE 68137), at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and all bid
prices read aloud for furnishing labor, materials, and performing all necessary work for construction of
the project entitled “MPS High School Softball Field Modifications".
The project is briefly described as follows:
Millard South High School Base Bid: This project consists of providing and installing concrete sidewalk
for ADA access to field areas, concrete pads and concrete sidewalk access at bleachers, and also
replace non-compliant backstop, as well as other deficiencies at the infield and outfield playing field.
Millard West High School Base Bid: This project consists of providing and installing concrete sidewalk
for ADA access and bleacher pads for access and seating, modify turf and irrigation area at infield to
conform to softball regulations, and install permanent fencing at prescribed dimensions, as well as other deficiencies at the infield and outfield playing field.
Millard North High School Base Bid: This project consists of providing and installing concrete sidewalk
for ADA access to the field areas, install higher chain link fence at front of dugouts, as well as other
deficiencies at the infield and outfield playing field.
