Public Notes:
The GLENWOOD COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISCTRICT will receive bids for the construction of the Northeast Elementary School Life Safety Upgrades at 901 N. Vine Street, Glenwood, IA, 51534.

The Owner Representative (referred to as “Owner”) during the bidding process shall be: Dave Greenwood, Director of Operations, Glenwood Community School District, Phone: 712-527-5661.

KPE-Consulting Engineers, 1501 J.F. Kennedy Drive, Bellevue, NE, 68005 (referred to as “Engineer”) is assisting the Owner in preparing bid documents, specifications and drawings as necessary for obtaining bids.

Bids will be received until 3:00 PM (CST), on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Glenwood Community District Office located at 103 Central Street, Suite 300, Glenwood, IA, 51534. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form prepared for this purpose. Bids must be received in a lump sum basis. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud June 29, 2012. Bids will be awarded on June 29, 2012 and substantial completion must be made by August 18, 2012.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid documents may be obtained after June 13th, 2012 from A & D Technical Supply, 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, NE, 68127, 800-228-2753, www.adtechsupply.com.

Plans will be loaned to qualified contract bidders upon receipt of a check in the amount of Twenty-Five dollars ($25.00) deposit per set.

Deposit will be refunded to bidders upon return of their complete set of bidding documents, including any addenda, properly bound and in good condition to the Owner’s Representative or the Engineer and within fourteen days after award of the project.

Each check is to be made payable to “KPE-Consulting Engineers”. Cash deposits will not be accepted.
