The project calls for the construction of additional student housing on the Council Bluffs campus of Iowa Western Community College. The bid for the Project consists of Suites II Phase III Building 11 & 12. Each building will be the construction of a 71-bed, suite style student residential housing facility. The housing unit will be a three-story facility with six (6) suites per floor for a total of 18 suites each. (Building 11) has an estimated total if 28,500 square feet and (Building 12) has an estimated total of 19, 150 square feet. The project will also include associated parking, utility connections and site preparation. All bidders are advised that the completion date for this project is May 31, 2013 and is critical and that liquidated damages in the amount of $6,000 per day for failure to meet construction deadlines will be included.

“The Owner has established a limited printing budget; when used, Bidder will need to purchase their own plans from A & D Technical Supply Company Inc. In addition, all Bidders will be allowed one set only with deposit or builders card. Additional sets may be purchased by Bidder.”

If shipping is required, there is a flat rate of $ 25.00 per set (Please address all checks for shipping to A&D Tech Supply Plan Room).
Refundable deposit checks may be cashed and the funds held by HGM Associates Inc.
Planholders seeking a refund shall return contract documents in a reusable condition to A&D Technical Supply Company Inc., within 14 calendar days from the bid date. Refund checks will be provided by HGM Associates Inc.
CD's of the project in PDF format are available at a cost of $ 25.00 each, PURCHASE ONLY.
