PreBid Info:   A Pre-bid Conference will be held at Central Elementary School. Attendance is strongly suggested for General Contractors. Meeting attendance is not required for subcontractors, but is suggested.

Public Notes:
The Project consists of renovation of the original school building mostly excluding the Merryman Performing Arts Center and the gymnasium (Approximately 31,000 SF +/- of the building over two (2) floors, plus basement, tunnel and crawlspace areas). The scope of renovation work includes a complete replacement of the mechanical system; replacement of portions of the power/ lighting systems; a complete, new technology system; new fire sprinkler system and complete removal and replacement of all of the original windows and exterior doors. A number of existing ceilings and lights are to be removed and replaced and all existing radiators and associated piping are to be removed under this contract. Renovations include select demolition of existing walls, replacement of floor finishes, ceilings and doors. Renovations will also include construction of some new metal stud walls and construction of new floor infill in one location.

A deposit in the amount of $150.00 (made payable to Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects) will be required for each set of bidding documents.

If shipping is required there is a non refundable flat rate of $30.00 per set made payable to A&D Technical Supply.

The deposit will be returned in full only if a) a qualified bid is submitted and the Drawings and Specifications are returned with fifteen(15) days of the bid determination, or if the Contractor decides not to submit a Proposal and the Drawings and Specifications are returned with seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.

All other contractors will return all Bid Documents to: Wilkins Hinrichs Stober Architects, L.L.C., 2908 W. 39th Street, Suite A, Kearney, Nebraska 68845.
