PreBid Info:   All Bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid conference on January 15, 2026, at 1:00 pm local time at Clay Center Elementary, 200 N. Center St., Clay Center, NE 68933, to familiarize themselves with the site conditions, bidding requirements, General/Supplementary Conditions of Construction, and to ensure comprehension of the specifications. Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions posed at Pre-Bid Conference by Addendum.

Bid Info:   Bids will be received until 1:00 pm local time on January 26, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly and simultaneously in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives. E-mail, facsimile, electronic, or telephone bids are not allowed. Any bid received after the deadline will not be opened or considered, and will be returned to bidder.

Public Notes:
The Project involves demolition of the abandoned elementary school located in Clay Center, Nebraska. The elementary school is attached to the 1967 high school facility, which 1967 facility is to be protected, remain, and be operational (including but not necessarily limited to working and safe utilities) after demolition of the elementary school.

A digital downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable card payment in the amount of $25.00 (+ 7% NE Sales Tax) payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

A printed copy of bid documents can be obtained upon receipt of a refundable deposit check in the amount of $50.00 payable to Sandy Creek Schools.
*An OBE Non-Cash Builder's Card will be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 (+ 7% NE Sales Tax) payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Please Note: Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 30 calendar days from the BID DATE of the project to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
