PreBid Info:   A pre-bid meeting will be held at Brownell Elementary (6000 Aylesworth Ave, Lincoln, NE 68505) on March 10, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. CDT (local time). Site visit to Dawes Middle School (5130 Colfax Ave, Lincoln, NE 68504) will follow immediately after Brownell site visit. The pre-bid meeting is strongly encouraged for any general contractors wishing to bid. Contractors and Subcontractors should check in at the main entry and staff will direct them to meeting location.

Bid Info:   Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Education of Lancaster County School District at the Operations Department, 800 South 24th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510, up to the hour of 2:00 pm, local time, on the 19th of March, 2020 for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services for the Project, Bid No. 9873. Bids shall be addressed to the attention of Matt Bellamy, Director of Purchasing c/o Operations Department at LPS, 800 S. 24th St. Lincoln, NE 68510. Bid Security will be required for this Bid.

At the above stated hour, the Owner will publicly open and read aloud the bids received.

Public Notes:
The Work involves all construction indicated on the drawings and specifications, included but not limited to the following: scope of work will include providing ventilation for the existing tunnel system at Brownell Elementary School and Dawes Middle School.

Specific construction activities will include demolition of existing equipment, installing new mechanical equipment and temperature controls, providing electrical connections to new mechanical equipment and installation of new tunnel partitions.

Physical copies of bidding documents are available for a refundable deposit check in the amount of $50.00 made payable to Lincoln Public Schools.

If mailing is needed, a separate non-refundable check of $20.00 made payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. is required.

Per LPS policy, digital copies of bid documents will not be issued.

Deposit checks will be refunded upon notice of award or return of the bid documents and any issued addenda in good condition to A&D Technical Supply within 14 days of the bid opening.
