Sealed proposals will be received for the Cozad High School – Mechanical Upgrades by “Cozad Community
Schools” at the office of Cozad School District - “1910 Meridian Ave., Cozad, NE 69130”. Bids are due on or
before December 19, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. CST for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services
for the Project, Bid #19-056.

Public Notes:

The Work includes but is not limited to the following:
1. The removal of (2) steam boilers, associated flues, associated steam piping system. The removal of (9) air
handling units. The removal of dual duct boxes. The removal of gymnasium exhaust fans. And removal of
associate miscellaneous electrical and temperature controls.
2. Replacement and installation of a new main electrical service, (6) new air handling units, (3) new gas fired
rooftop units, new variable volume reheat boxes to replace existing dual duct boxes in the south interior
classrooms, associated gas and hydronic piping, miscellaneous electrical, and temperature controls.
3. The General Construction work includes repairing exhaust fan openings on the gymnasium roof, structural
steel supports for rooftop units, gymnasium block wall and mechanical room concrete floor infill at existing
duct penetrations, removal of a mechanical room block wall, and the installation of a 6-foot door into a
mechanical room.
4. All work to be completed before the start of school in fall 2020.

Bidding documents will be released upon receipt of a $30.00 deposit, checks payable to Engineering
Technologies, Inc.
If a bidder requests a set to be mailed, a separate nonrefundable
payment of $20.00 dollars per set, payable to A&D Technical, shall be included to cover handling
and postage.
A digital download of the complete set is available for a non-refundable fee of $20.00 paid to A&D Technical Supply Co.
Deposits will be refunded if all documents are returned in good conditions within 30 calendar
days after the date of the bid opening.
