Sealed bids for the Iowa Western Community College - Council Bluffs Campus Hot Water and
Steam Line Replacement, Dock Phase II, Council Bluffs, Iowa, will be received at the Clark Hall
Conference Room 161, Iowa Western Community College, 2700 College Road, Council Bluffs,
Iowa 51503; (712) 325-3235, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, and will be
opened publicly.

The Work includes but is not limited to the following: The removal and replacement of existing concrete pavement and sidewalk areas,
removal, modification and/or reconstruction of concrete mechanical vaults,
removal and replacement of existing storm sewer, water main and sanitary sewer
utilities, new and renovated site lighting, site grading, new landscaping, new
ornamental fence, and modification of existing irrigation system. The majority of civil site work is located between the boiler plant and loading dock
to the north, including the courtyard area. The civil site work includes the removal
and replacement of existing concrete pavement and sidewalks, removal and
replacement of existing utilities (storm sewer, water main and sanitary sewer), site
lighting, site grading, new landscaping, new site furnishings, and modification of
existing irrigation system. Site structural work includes modifying the existing
loading dock and modifications to an existing mechanical vault. Replace steam lines with hot water lines. Upgrade the central heating plant to
provide steam ad hot water to the campus; including new hot water boilers, steam to
hot water heat exchanger, pumps, and condensate surge tank. Connect new hot water
piping into existing heating water system within the existing campus buildings.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $200.00 payable to Iowa Western Community College. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $35.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $40.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days after award of the project to obtain a deposit refund. If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
