PreBid Info:   A Pre-Bid Conference and tour of the existing occupied spaces below will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the Douglas County Health Center, 4102 Woolworth Ave., Omaha, Nebraska 68105. All Bidders and sub-bidders are strongly encouraged to be present. There is no other time scheduled to allow bidder access to the secure areas.

Bid Info:   YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Douglas County Nebraska shall receive sealed bids on a Phased Construction Contract including door and hardware replacement, painting, and miscellaneous associated General, Mechanical and Electrical work for Douglas County Health Center– 5th Floor Ligature Upgrades Project, at 4102 Woolworth Ave., Omaha, Nebraska 68105; that said bids shall be received by the Owner until 11:00 a.m. central time on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 to the attention of the City of Omaha Clerk, Douglas County Civic Center, LC1 Offices, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Bid Opening meeting in the Legislative Chambers after submission of Bids on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Public Notes:
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of, but is not limited to, the following: The proposed project consists of approx. 5,600 SF of interior improvements. It includes minor demolition, new doors and hardware, toilet accessories, patch & repair of ceiling and wall finishes. Upgraded electrical fixtures, lighting, plumbing fixtures and modifications to the HVAC system, to comply with the ligature assessment. The project is in 3 phases, PICU (wing 5D) is phase 1 which is approx. 3,200 SF, and Wing 5 East is split between phases 2 & 3. Phase 2 is approx. 1,300 SF and Phase 3 is approx.1,100.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $50.00 payable to Carlson West Povondra Architects. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Any bidder upon returning the documents in good condition immediately following the public opening of the bids, shall be returned the deposit in full.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
