Sealed Bids for the Chiller Plant at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse located at
227 South 6th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa will be received at the offices of HGM Associates
Inc., 640 Fifth Avenue, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Tuesday, November 12, 2019, until 3:00 p.m., and
will be opened publicly. The bid tab will be made public.

PROJECT DESCRIPTON: The Work includes but is not limited to modifications to the Chiller Plant at various
locations of the Pottawattamie County Courthouse located at 227 South 6th Street,
Council Bluffs, IA. Included is new electrical service at the 5th Floor Mechanical Room, a
new air-cooled chiller to be installed in two sections - at the Roof and at the 5th Floor
Mechanical Room, chiller is to be installed with two independent circuits, two chilled
water pumps with VFD, expansion tank and separator, header and main for the chilled
water system and associated piping to Mechanical Room at all levels.
Work also includes associated wall, ceiling and roof patching at areas of work and
structural modifications to support additional rooftop units. The work includes fire safing
and fire protection modifications at the areas of structural modifications.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $50.00 payable to HGM Associates, Inc. There is a limit of 1 set per plan holder. Additional sets may be purchased at Contractor's expense. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days from the date of award of the project or within 14 calendar days from the bid date to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
