PreBid Info:   A tour of the existing building and a pre-bid conference will be held at the building on October 16, 2019 at 10:00 am. Interested parties are to meet at the Douglas County Boiler Plant. Bidders are encouraged to attend walkthrough.

Bid Info:   You are invited to bid on a combined contract, including general, mechanical and electrical work for the Generator and Burner Replacement at the Douglas County Health Center. Douglas County will receive sealed bids until 11:00 am Central Time on November 6, 2019 at the LC1 Offices of the City Clerk, Omaha – Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam St., Omaha, NE 68183-0011. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Project Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Public Notes:
Project consists for modifying the existing electrical distribution system in the Douglas County Boiler Plant. A new outdoor generator will be installed outdoors and two existing indoor generators and supporting equipment will be removed. Project includes modifications to the fuel oil distribution system. Replacement of an existing burner serving a steam boiler will be replaced and bid as an alternate.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Specialized Engineering Solutions. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Any bidder upon returning the documents in good condition immediately following the public opening of the bids, shall be returned the deposit in full.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
