The Owner, History Nebraska, 1500 R Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68501-1651, will receive sealed
bids for a combined contract, including the General, Mechanical and Electrical Work, for the
construction of an addition to and remodeling of the John G. Neihardt State Historical Site
located at 400 West Grove Street, Bancroft, Nebraska. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM (CST), Thursday, March 21, 2019. Bids received after
this time will not be accepted. If the bid is sent by mail, it shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with
notation, "Sealed Bid Enclosed," on the face thereof and shall be directed to: Charley
McWilliams, Facilities Maintenance Manager, at the office of the Owner, located at P.O.
Box 82554, 1500 R Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68501. If hand delivering the bid, label the envelope "Proposal for The Roof Replacement of the
Center at the John G. Neihardt State Historical Site”, drop-off at the reception desk at the
Nebraska History Museum, 131 Centennial Mall North, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508.
After 2:00 PM (CST) Bids will be taken to the office of the 309 Task Force for Building
Renewal, located at 1526 K Street, Suite 210, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68508. Where they will
be opened and read aloud by the Owner in the 2nd floor Conference Room 2B.

The Work of this Contract comprises the replacement of the existing roof assembly at the
John G. Neihardt State Historical Site, Visitors Center Building, located at 306 Elm
Street, Bancroft, Nebraska 68004, in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $25.00 payable to Jackson-Jackson & Associates. A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $10.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 10 days of the bid opening.
