Nebraska State Building Division is requesting bids to replace the existing air handling unit and
condensing unit as well as install fire protection of the building’s utility tunnel at the Dickson Cottage
Building on the YRTC Kearney Campus. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February
19, 2019, at the office of DAS / State Building Division, 1526 K Street, Suite 200, Lincoln, NE 68508,
Attention Amber Brannigan, at which hour, or as soon as possible thereafter, the received bids will be
publicly opened and considered for the furnishing of labor, materials and equipment necessary for the
proper construction of said project.

The project consists of providing and installing a fire protection system in the tunnel, an air
handling unit located in the basement, air-cooled condensing unit and associated mechanical
piping and accessories and electrical equipment and system support at the Dickson Cottage
Building of YRTC in Kearney, NE.

Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents at the office of A&D Technical Supply, 4320 S. 89th St., Omaha, NE 68127, upon depositing the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00), payable to Farris Engineering, for the set of Bidding Documents.
A Builder's Card will not be accepted in lieu of a deposit check.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A & D Technical Supply, 4320 S. 89th St., Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition within ten (10) days after the bid date.
If the documents are not returned within fifteen (15) days from the bid date, the deposit check may be cashed.
The bidding documents will be shipped upon receipt of an additional non-refundable check for $25.00, payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. for mailing charges.
CD's and Download's containing a full set of Drawings and Specifications are available for a non-refundable fee of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Plan Room.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable flat fee of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Plan Room.
