There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on Tuesday, July 24, at 9:00 AM, at
OPS Service Center, 4041 N 72nd St, Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of answering
questions. Pre-bid access to and walk-throughs of the four (4) sites will be allowed after the pre-bid
conference. Site visit schedule will be provided at the pre-bid meeting. This will be the
only available access period prior to the submission of bids.

Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Omaha,
Nebraska, will be received for the Access Control Upgrades at Buffett Middle, Wilson
Focus, Yates and Distribution Center, in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215
Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made
to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in
awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned
unopened. The time clock maintained by the OPS District Operational Services shall be
the official clock utilized to determine the time for the close of bidding.

This project includes doors and frames, door hardware, electrical power for security,
video intercom, security access control, and telecommunications infrastructure for three
(3) schools and one (1) warehouse. Sites include: Buffett Middle (14101 Larimore
Ave), Wilson Focus (5141 F St), Yates Elementary (3260 Davenport St), and
Distribution Center (4515 S 68th St). Scope of work varies by school and includes
architectural and electrical support for the work involved.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co.
Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
