PreBid Info:   A pre-proposal meeting will be held on July 26th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Governor’s meeting room, on the 3rd floor of the Jack J. Huck Continuing Education Center, 301 South 68th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. The pre-proposal conference will include an overview of the Project design to date, with an opportunity for prospective proposers to ask questions about the Project.

Bid Info:   Eight (8) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy on a memory stick of the proposal shall be addressed and delivered in a sealed envelope to Southeast Community College - Nebraska, Attn: Aaron Epps, 301 South 68th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510. Proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m. (CST) on August 9, 2018. Any proposal received after that time and date will not be opened or considered, and will be returned to the proposer. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the proposing CM@R’s name, address, and telephone number clearly marked on the cover. The lower left corner of the sealed envelope should read as follows: “QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF Each proposal must include Appendix “H”, Construction Manager at Risk – Request for Qualifications - PROPOSAL VERIFICATIONS, CONSENTS AND AGREEMENTS.

Public Notes:
Southeast Community College – Nebraska is requesting qualifications from qualified construction management firms (CM@R) to provide construction management at risk services for the proposed construction of Diesel Technology Building (“Project” )

A general description of the proposed Project is as follows: Diesel Technology Building: Design of an approximately 50,900 square foot Diesel Technology building on the Southeast Community College -Milford Campus particularly described on the Scope of Project Sheet –Appendix “A”

The new SCC Diesel Tech is to be located in Milford, Nebraska. SCC will continue to operate out of the existing Milford facility until the new facility is complete. Future plans for SCC include moving to a semester scheduling for students rather than the current scheduling by quarters system that they currently use.

The new SCC Diesel Tech facility is a multi-functional facility. This is to be a” State of the Art” facility. At the current time, the estimated construction budget is $13.1M.
