There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. at
Prairie Wind Elementary School (10908 Ellison Avenue, Omaha, Ne 68164) for the
purpose of discussing the project and answering questions. It is MANDATORY that
General Contractors (Prime Bidders) are required to be present. Subcontractors are
also encouraged to attend.

Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public
Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Omaha Public Schools Prairie
Wind Elementary Security Vestibule & Finish Upgrades will be received in the office of District
Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha,
Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 p.m. on May 23, 2018. The time clock
maintained by District Operational Services, shall be the official clock utilized
to determine the time for close of bidding. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will
be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for
consideration in awarding the Contract.

The Project consists of work related to the Security Vestibule and Finish Upgrades
throughout the school. The following is a general description of the Work within this bid package: General Architectural Work (Painting, Flooring, Ceilings, etc.); Mechanical work; Electrical work; Fire Alarm; Intercom / Phone / Data; Coordination as required with the Owner and other Contractors as may
be necessary related to the (N.I.C. – Not In Contract) items listed in the
next section. Separate Contracts and items by Others (N.I.C. Not-In-Contract) are as follows: Moveable Furnishings (i.e. desks, etc.).

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $50.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued. CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc. If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
