PreBid Info:   There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. at Hartman Elementary, 5530 N 66th Street Omaha, NE for the purpose of answering questions and walking the site. It is MANDATORY that Prime Bidders are required to be present.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Omaha Public Schools Hartman Elementary School Temporary Classroom Buildings will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 p.m. on March 27, 2018. The time clock maintained by District Operational Services, shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened.

Public Notes:
The Project consists of work related to providing and installing three temporary classroom structures located near the existing parking lot west of the school. The following is a general description of the Work within this bid package: Earthwork / Grading; Footings / Foundations; Concrete Flatwork (Paving); Utility Extensions and Connections (Sanitary, Water and Electrical); Amended Soils / Sod / Silt Fencing; New Electrical Transformer and associated wiring; Low Voltage Wiring; Fire Alarm; Security; Intercom / Phone / Data; Wireless Communications Infrastructure; Removal and replacement of existing site features as required to conduct the work.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $125.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co.
Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
