All Bidders and sub-bidders are strongly encouraged to be present. There is no other time scheduled
to allow bidder access to the secure areas.

Bids shall be received by the Owner until 11:00 a.m.
central time on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 to the attention of the City of Omaha Clerk, Douglas
County Civic Center, LC1 Offices, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. Bids received
after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled Bid Opening
meeting in the Legislative Chambers after submission of Bids on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. All
interested parties are invited to attend.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Douglas County Nebraska shall receive sealed bids on a
Combined Construction Contract including roofing replacement, shower repairs, cell door
replacement, exterior window replacement, cell upgrades, light fixture replacement, HVAC unit
replacement, fire sprinkler system installation and miscellaneous associated General, Mechanical,
Plumbing and Electrical work for Douglas County Correctional Selective Remodel – Phase II project,
at 710 S 17th Street, Omaha, Nebraska.

Contractors may obtain full sets of Drawings and Project Manual from the following location:
A&D Technical Supply Co., 4320 So. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402) 592-4950 ext. 4, or by the
Virtual Plan Room at www.adtechsupply.com.
A deposit in the amount of $100.00 made payable to Carlson West Povondra Architects will be required for each set of bidding documents. Builders Cards will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
If shipping is required there is a non refundable flat rate of $40.00 per set made payable to A&D Technical Supply.
There will be a $8.00 handling fee for the use of shipper numbers (UPS).
CD's and Downloads of the project in PDF format are available at a cost of $35.00 each, PURCHASE ONLY.
The deposit will be returned in full only if returned with fifteen(10) days of the bid opening.
