PreBid Info:   A pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for February 27, 2018 at 10:00 A.M., at the Council Bluffs Water Pollution Control Plant, 18452 Applewood Road for interested Contractors, Suppliers, and Subcontractors to discuss the project, ask questions, and visit the project site. Attendance is not mandatory, but suggested. Bid Info:   Sealed bids will be received at the 209 Pearl Street Office of the City Clerk until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, for all work set forth in the plans, specifications and proposals for the above mentioned project. Bids will be opened and publicly read immediately following the filing deadline in the City Clerk’s Office of City Hall.

Public Notes:
MAJOR ITEMS OF WORK for this project include the following approximate quantities: Rehabilitation of the interior of Manhole 1 (which consists of four 3’10” x 5’-0” chambers which split flow to the primary clarifiers and one 6’-2” square influent center chamber), with corrosion resistant structural material (327 SF) followed by a corrosion resistant protective liner (1645 SF); and rehabilitation of influent Pipe 1 (40 LF of 48 inch) and Pipes 2, 3, 4, and 5 (430 LF of 30 inch dia.) with a corrosion resistant structural liner. Also included is bypass pumping to complete the rehabilitation work and additional bypass pumping to enable CCTV and condition assessment in downstream piping and structures (Primary Clarifiers to Manhole 2). Additional work includes anchor bolt installations, erosion control, surface restoration, materials, equipment, and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the full project.
Two Alternatives are specified for bid and generally described as follows: Alternate “A” includes rehabilitation of Manhole 1 by repair with cementitious structural material and epoxy lining of the full interior, CIPP lining of Pipes 1 thru 5, bypass pumping to accomplish this work, bypass pumping for additional CCTV and condition assessment, installation of anchor bolts, and site cleanup with seeding. Alternate “B” includes rehabilitation of Manhole 1 by repair with geopolymer structural material and geopolymer lining of the full interior, lining of Pipes 1 thru 5 with geopolymer material, bypass pumping to accomplish this work, bypass pumping for additional CCTV and condition assessment, installation of anchor bolts, and site cleanup with seeding.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $125.00 payable to George Butler Associates, Inc. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days from the date of award to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
