Sealed proposals for the Domestic Hot Water Recirculation Replacement Project at the Lincoln Correctional Center will be received by the Engineering Division, Double “Y” Building, Conference Room “E”, Department of Correctional Services, P.O. Box 94661, Folsom and West Prospector Place, Lincoln, Nebraska 68509-4664, until Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Bid Security is required.

The work consists of replacing the existing domestic hot water heating system and the domestic hot water re-circulation system. The existing domestic hot water system currently consists of a small hot water heating boiler, a pair of hot water heating system pumps, a large 1,500 gallon domestic hot water storage tank, a pair of domestic hot water re-circulating pumps, a domestic hot water heat exchanger, two more auxiliary domestic water heating coils within the two larger hot water heating boilers, and the existing domestic hot water recirculation system.
