68157, for the purpose of answering questions. Pre-bid access to and walk-throughs of the three (3) schools will be allowed after the

Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Omaha,
Nebraska, will be received for the OPS Fire, Life Safety, and Security Improvements –
Ashland Park, Highland, and Pawnee Elementary Schools, in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public
Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday,
February 21, 2017. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and
tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting
for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be
returned unopened. The time clock maintained by the OPS District Operational
Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for the close of bidding.

This project includes general construction for storm safe area shelters, civil site work,
mechanical, electrical, fire sprinklers, door hardware, fire alarm, emergency lighting,
security access control, push-pull video, and telecommunications infrastructure for three
(3) schools. Schools include: Ashland Park Robbins Elementary (5050 South 51st
Street), Highland Elementary (2625 Jefferson Street), and Pawnee Elementary (7310
South 48th Street) Schools. Scope of work varies by school and includes architectural,
mechanical, and electrical support for the work involved.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. A Plan Deposit Card, as issued by the Omaha Builders Exchange, will NOT be accepted in lieu of a deposit check. Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
