There will be two pre-bid conferences for this project. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at
10:00 AM. The second Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Both meetings will start at King Science Middle School then going to McMillan Middle School
in Omaha, Nebraska. Attendance at one of the meetings is required. The list of contractors who attended the pre-bid will be included in
the addendum. For a contractor’s bid to be considered for evaluation, he/she must have
attended the pre-bid meeting.

Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas
County, Nebraska, for the Omaha Public Schools King Science and McMillan Middle
Schools: Security Improvements Bid No. 17-011, will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha
Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 PM,
CDST, Tuesday, November 15, 2016. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and
read aloud. A tabulation will be prepared to present to the Board of Education at the next
regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the bid
closing time will be returned unopened.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. A Plan Deposit Card, as issued by the Omaha Builders Exchange, will NOT be accepted in lieu of a deposit check. Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
