PreBid Info:   A tour of the existing building and a pre-bid conference will be held at the building on November 16, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interested parties are to meet by the Health Center Boiler Plant, at location shown on cover sheet of drawings. Bidders are encouraged to attend walkthrough.

Bid Info:   You are invited to bid on a combined contract, including general, mechanical and electrical work for the Plant Upgrades, Phase II at the Douglas County Health Center Campus. Douglas County will receive sealed bids until 11:00 am Central Time on November 30,2016 at the LC1 Offices of the City Clerk, Omaha – Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam St., Omaha, NE 68183-0011. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Public Notes:
Project Identification: Project consists of upgrades to the central chiller plant at the Douglas County Health Center. Upgrades include installation of new 500-ton water cooled chiller pre-purchased by the Owner. Contractor is responsible for receiving, storing, installing, and startup of new chiller. Other upgrades includes new piping, pumps, and controls. Chilled water must remain available to buildings served by the chiller plant throughout the construction period which requires the use of a rental chiller.

Contractors may obtain drawings and specifications for the work from the office of A & D Technical Supply Co., located at 4320 South 89th St, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 ex. 4, or by order through their Virtual Plan Room at www.adtechsupply.com.

There is a Refundable Deposit of $100.00 made payable to Specialized Engineering Solutions.

Any bidder upon returning the documents in good condition immediately following the public opening of the bids, shall be returned the deposit in full.

If shipping is required, there is a flat rate of $20.00 per set (Please address all checks for shipping to A&D Tech Supply Plan Room at 4320 S. 89th St. Omaha, Ne. 68127).

CD's and Downloads of plans and specifications are also available for a non-refundable fee of $15.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co.
