Public Notes:
The  South  Dakota  Department  of  the  Military  Construction  and  Facilities  Management  Office  is  accepting quotes for demolition and lead remediation work at the Vermillion Armory in Vermillion,  South Dakota.  This project involves providing labor, equipment and materials to evacuate an existing  firing range within the facility. The work includes removing and disposing of existing range equipment  including bullet traps, ceiling diverters, sound boards, targeting systems, radiant heaters, exhaust vent  and ductwork, and remediating lead from the space to safe levels.  Partial lead remediation testing and  cleaning has been performed previously for this area.
