PreBid Info:   A Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 4:00 p.m. at Joslyn Elementary School Library. The list of contractors who attended the pre-bid will be included in the addendum. For a contractor’s bid to be considered for evaluation, he/she must have attended the pre-bid meeting.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Omaha Public Schools – Joslyn Elementary School; Addition and Renovation Project, Bid Number 16-035, for the Omaha Public Schools, in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by RDG Planning & Design, will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 PM, Central Daylight Savings Time, Tuesday, March 15, 2016. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and a tabulation will be prepared to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the bid closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by the District Operational Services office shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding; the contractor should allow sufficient time to check into the facility to submit its bid.

The Project consists of a classroom addition/storm shelter, mechanical and electrical systems renovations, and finishes renovations throughout. The following is a general description of the Work: Classroom/storm shelter addition. Renovation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure. Finishes renovations of existing building.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $125.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co.
Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
