PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Remodel the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms at the Cushing Coliseum for the expressed purpose of
providing an ADA handicap accessible restroom and a shower. In the Men’s Locker Room, convert existing steam room 146C into an accessible restroom. The north
block wall will be demolished to enlarge the room into Dressing Area 144D, thus removing a bench
seating area. Provide an accessible shower at the south end of Shower 144C and re-open an existing
opening (now blocked shut) between 144C and 146 to allow access from both dressing rooms. In the Women’s Locker Room, remodel the Restroom 141E to provide an accessible HC stall for a water
closet by converting the two south stalls into one stall, and provide an accessible lavatory. In the 141C
alcove just to the east of Shower 141D, remodel this area where there is a bathing suit drying unit to
provide an accessible shower. Lower the drying unit to be accessible.
