SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: The existing telecommunications infrastructure at the Auburn Elementary and Middle/High school consists of mostly Cat 5 cabling with limited wireless access point locations. This project is to provide Cat 6 cabling to all phone locations to accommodate VOIP phone system upgrades as well as provide Cat 6A cabling to new wireless access point locations. Fiber backbone improvements and communication rack modifications are also included. Note: VOIP phone system equipment and access point equipment will be furnished / installed under a separate project.
