PreBid Info:   A pre-bid conference will be held at Lefler Middle School, 1100 South 48th Street, Lincoln Nebraska on January 19, 2016 at 3:30 P.M. CST. Attendance by all interested Contractors and Subcontractors is advised. Contractors and Subcontractors should check at the main office and school staff will direct them. Building will be open after the meeting for contractors to inspect the facility.

SCOPE OF NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received for the Lefler Middle School Gym Addition & Renovation Project, by the Board of Education of Lancaster County School District at the Facilities and Maintenance Office of LPS, 800 S. 24th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510.

Base Bid of Work includes:

1. Addition and Renovation to Lefler Middle School.

A. New Construction:
a. Construct gymnasium, entry vestibule, mechanical room and storage room (approximately 5,644 s.f.).
b. Construct new elevator shaft with elevator lobbies.
c. Construct new entrance vestibule and new entrance canopy.

B. Renovation:
a. Renovate area adjacent to stair to construct new elevator shaft with elevator lobbies.
b. Renovate four restrooms, three science classrooms and one computer room.
c. Renovate two corridors to provide new ramps.

2. Additive Alternate Includes:
A. Terrazzo flooring at ramp in main entry. Delete rubber flooring at ramp in main entry (A1).

3. Deductive Alternate Includes: A. Delete all exterior masonry tuck-pointing and repair except area indicated as "base bid" (D1).
