PreBid Info:   A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 4:00 P.M. at McMillan Magnet Middle School, Omaha, Nebraska. The list of contractors who attended the pre-bid will be included in the addendum. For a contractor’s bid to be considered for evaluation, he/she must have attended the pre-bid meeting.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, for the OPS McMillan Magnet Middle School Security Improvements, will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha, Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131 until 2:00 PM, CST, Thursday, February 4, 2016. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.

Public Notes:
The work under this specification shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to provide a completed project as outlined in the bid/proposal documents. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to protect existing construction. In addition, removal of debris and repair of any damage due to work under this contract is considered within the scope of work and is the responsibility of the Contractor.



Job Purchase Information:
Contractors may obtain drawings and specifications for the work from the office of A & D Technical Supply Co., located at 4320 South 89th St, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 ex. 4, or by order through their Virtual Plan Room at www.adtechsupply.com. upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $25.00 payable to IP Design Group.

If shipping is required, there is a flat rate of $20.00 per set (Please address all checks for shipping to A&D Tech Supply).

Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.


The deposit will be returned in full only if a qualified bid is submitted and the Bid Documents are returned within fifteen (15) days of the bid determination.
