PreBid Info:   All General (Prime) Contractors and Telecommunication Contractors are REQUIRED to attend and participate in the Pre-Bid Conference on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at McMillan Magnet Middle School; other subcontractors are encouraged to attend. This will be the only time facilities will be made available prior to the bid date.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, for the OPS Telecommunications Infrastructure Upgrades at McMillan Magnet Middle School, will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha, Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131 until 2:00 PM, CST, Tuesday, January 26, 2016. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.

Project Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Public Notes:
This project includes telecommunications infrastructure replacement and electrical upgrades at McMillan Magnet Middle School. Scope of work within existing rooms and associated mechanical and electrical systems, installation of pathways, cable trays, fiber back bone, horizontal cabling, outlets, racks and all associated termination hardware and testing.

Contractors may obtain drawings and specifications for the work from the office of A & D Technical Supply Co., located at 4320 South 89th St, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 ex. 4, or by order through their Virtual Plan Room at www.adtechsupply.com. upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to IP Design Group.

If shipping is required, there is a flat rate of $20.00 per set (Please address all checks for shipping to A&D Tech Supply).

Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.


The deposit will be returned in full only if a qualified bid is submitted and the Bid Documents are returned within fifteen (15) days of the bid determination.
